BNK Petroleum, Inc. remains focused on the continued development of existing properties, advantageous acquisitions in undeveloped reserves, and additional potentially significant exploration projects, such as those currently being pursued in Europe. BNK's team has, over the last 2 years looked at over 25 basins in 10 countries in both Eastern and Western Europe and has narrowed it down to a number of basins that it is pursuing. BNK is applying the knowledge they have accumulated over the years in U.S. gas shales to Europe. The first set of concessions, that were awarded to BNK are in Poland. Since then BNK has been awarded a total of 3.9 million gross acres consisting of 12 concessions in Germany and in Poland. BNK now has concessions in 4 different basins in Europe for shale gas. BNK believes it is one of the early companies to pursue shale gas land acquisitions in Europe and continues to both apply for and await decisions on previously submitted applications in Europe.. This strategic focus provides for a stable and growing production platform from its U.S. operations while giving the Company a potential for large future growth in multiple high impact projects.
